Carpano Vermouth - Punt e Mes is a product of legendary history.

On April 19th 1870, at Carpano store, a discussion between a stockbroker with his colleagues about the growth of certain tickers actions that day - increased by a year and a half - ordered the usual Carpano but this time corrected with a Chinese average dose, , using a dialect expression "Punt e Mes". It was before lunch, and so a full drink was born that pleased immediately, remembering the waiter Maurizio Boeris.

Punt e Mes has an orange color with topaz tonality and is characterized by aromas reminiscent of medicinal herbs, China and nails. The taste is sweet at first, which is characterized by an intriguing brand of orange peel. Todo comenzó en 1786 en Turín, cuando Antonio Benedetto Carpano, después de un período de estudios realizados por herbolario, inventó la fórmula que da lugar a la categoría de productos de vermut, hierbas y especias de mezcla con el vino moscatel.   Su tienda se encuentra justo enfrente del Palacio Real, y, seguro de la bondad de este nuevo producto, envía una cesta de rey Víctor Amadeo III.   A partir de aquí comienza en el instante en el éxito de vermut


Tienda de Carpano se convierte en un punto de atracción de la ciudad y en 1820, Giuseppe Bernardino Carpano, nieto de Antonio, decide dar respaldo legal a su negocio y fundó la "Fábrica de Licores y Giuseppe Carpano Vermut, ya firme Marendazzo y Com.ia , bajo las arcadas de la Plaza del Castillo a n. 21 ".
 
De 1840 a 1888, el renombre de Carpano se expande y el vaso de Carpano convertirse en un efecto por excelencia aperitivo y la bebida favorita de Turín.


Los años pasan y el éxito del vermut Carpano, verdadera bebida, se hace cada vez más evidente.   En 1898, los hermanos Luigi y Ottavio, Carpano de tercera generación, decidieron formar la planta industrial en el molde, dejando las filas estrechas de la tienda de artesanía, y sigue creciendo.
